myhab set for second summer of music festivals

After a successful first year, selling out at 8 from a total of 10 festivals, myhab is expanding it's line-up of festivals aiming to reach even more festival goers in 2009, adding their funky myhabs to top festivals as The Isle of Wight, The Big Chill, Creamfields and many more. (see complete list below.)

In the current climate, demand for myhab's luxury camping is surpassing expectations after selling out for T in the Park in less than 5 minutes.

Director James Dunlop says "we are extremely pleased by the demand for our myhabs, this is not only great news for us but also the entire festival industry. It highlights that people are still spending their money on live music and luxury products like myhab, even during these economic times."

myhab full launch confirmed for 2008

myhab's luxury festival accommodation service is set to launch at several festivals around the UK in the summer. offering festival-goers a greener, more convenient and comfortable alternative to sleeping in tents, the myhab service has already generated great feedback at several festivals in 2007.

"we're going to be at all the big events this summer," says myhab founder, James Dunlop. "the myvillage, home to up to 250 myhabs, comes complete with shower blocks and loos exclusively for myhab users and we'll have a trained team on hand 24 hours a day to make sure everyone has a chilled-out, hassle-free stay."

big green thumbs-up

myhab - the luxury festival accommodation service - impressed the crowds at the Big Green Gathering in 2007, where it showcased three of its eco-friendly myhab living spaces.

"to get good feedback across the board, from youngsters to veteran greens, was a real thrill," says myhab founder, James Dunlop. "we're offering a luxury alternative to tents at festivals, as well as sticking to our green ethos. we use recycled and recyclable parts in all our myhabs with our focus on reducing the amount of landfill rubbish big events inevitably generate. to get the thumbs-up from the Big Green Gathering crowd shows we're on the right road."

myhab woos party-goers at Leeds Festival

in a dry-run for the 2008 launch of myhab - the luxury festival accommodation service - the company set up ten myhab eco-friendly living spaces at Leeds 2007.

the myhabs - all made from recycled and recyclable materials - went down well with those party-goers who tried them out. "the crowds at Leeds seemed to love myhab, as a concept as well as the actual spaces themselves," says James Dunlop, founder of myhab. "we were pleased to hear they thought they were comfortable and roomy".

"the festival organisers seemed impressed too. obviously, part of our aim is to help organisers reduce the amount of clearing up of abandoned tents they're forced to do when events finish. we had a similar encouraging reaction at Connect too. we took four myhabs along and the overwhelming response was really positive."
